THE NEW FOREST, BATH AND THE COTSWOLDS

Of course many visitors to the UK head for London, and with Buckingham Palace, The Tower of London, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, there is plenty to see. But there is so much more to England.

We will start on Day One with collecting you in London, and we will head west for Windsor Castle. Depending on the day of the week and the schedules, we may catch The Changing of the Guard at the Castle.

We will continue south-west into The New Forest, such a dramatic change from the hustle and bustle of urban London, where the ponies roam free and folk walk over the open ground, under the beech trees and alongside babbling brooks.

We recommend that you organise accommodation for one night in Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst or Burley.

On our second morning we will leave the New Forest for Bath, perhaps breaking our journey at the Westbury White Horse. After a few hours in Bath, where you will see its main sites - the Roman baths, Pulteney Bridge, Royal Crescent and so on -  we will head for the Cotswolds via Tetbury.

We suggest you book two nights accommodation in the Cotswolds. We believe Burford is the best centre, but there are many places to choose from. Do ask us if you would like advice on the best areas.

On the third day we will take our main 22 Villages Tour

Where would you like to go after your two nights in the Cotswolds? Do ask if you would like us to take you to London via Blenheim Palace and Oxford, or if you are heading for Heathrow Airport it is better to use The Original Cotswold Travel Company than public transport.

To summarise this three-day tour, it's:

  • Windsor Castle
  • The New Forest
  • Bath
  • and the full 22-Village Cotswold Tour.
